Cases were stalling on the long tail of records.
Personal injury cases live or die on a more complete medical history across every provider a client saw after an injury (the ER, imaging, orthopedics, physical therapy, primary care). The providers on electronic networks were reachable, but the long tail of smaller, unconnected offices was a gap the platform could not close on its own.
For that long tail, firms fell back on per-record retrieval vendors or paralegals chasing offices by phone and fax. It took around 15 paralegal hours and about $700 per case, and records still came back incomplete. Missing visits stalled settlements, and a more complete record materially improved case value.
How we partnered.
We embedded through the platform's API to close the long-tail gap. Firms could reuse the signed release they already collect in the retainer packet, which Hubble acts on through voice and browser agents, or collect consent on Hubble instead, with the patient verifying their identity through a Hubble link, which adds HIE and direct EHR integrations for the providers on a network.
Either way, records came back as filing-ready PDFs in whatever format the firm required, and the platform just displayed the result. Firms stopped chasing the long tail of offices by phone and fax.
